20年以上にわたってスワミの御講話の通訳を務め、シュリ・サティア・サイ・セヴァ・オーガニゼーション・アンドラ・プラデーシュ州会長、サティヤ・サイ大学ブリンダーヴァン校学校長、プラシャーンティ・ニラヤム校講師としてバガヴァン・ババに仕え、エネルギッシュで熱意あふれるスピーチを通じて何千人もの聴衆やバガヴァンに慕われた素晴らしい講演者でもあったアニル・クマール・カマラージュ教授の訃報に接し、私たちは深い悲しみを感じています。

霊性に深い関心を抱いていた学者であった彼は、アーンドラ・クリスチャン・カレッジで講師を務めていた1970年にバガヴァンに引き寄せられました。バガヴァンの普遍的な愛と奉仕のメッセージに心を動かされ、アーンドラ・プラデーシュ州のシュリ・サティヤ・サイ・セヴァ・オーガニゼーションに加わり、最終的にはバガヴァンの祝福を受けて、州会長まで務めました。1990年代初頭には学校長を務めるためサティヤ・サイ大学ブリンダーヴァン校に加わり、その後、プラシャーンティ・ニラヤム校に移りました。アニル・クマール教授は、模範的な教育と指導を通して、学生たちの人生形成において極めて重要な役割を果たしました。学問的卓越性と霊的価値に全身全霊を注いだ彼の足跡は、サイ大学とそのコミュニティに深く刻まれています。

1990年代頃から、彼はバガヴァンの御講話の通訳を毎回務めるようになり、神の降臨の最後の最後まで、その祝福された役割を務めました。雄弁な彼は、1978年に初めて、プールナチャンドラ講堂でバガヴァンの御前でスピーチをするよう命じられました。その後、スワミから直々に祝福されて、スワミのメッセージを世界中に伝えるようになりました。彼自身の言葉を借りれば、アニル・クマール教授は「宣教者の如き熱意をもって旅をし、スワミについて詳細に語った」のです。彼は一度、スワミにこう祈ったことさえあります。「スワミ、私に解脱という祝福を与えず、私を何度も生まれ変わらせてください。そして毎回の人生において、私にあなたの栄光を広めさせてください。」 それが彼の献身と信愛でした。アニル・クマール教授はまた数えきれないほどたくさんの本を著しました。それらの本の中で、彼は己の神聖体験を紹介するだけでなく、バガヴァンの本来のメッセージを深く探求してもいます。

昨年80歳を超えたアニル・クマール教授は、最期までプッタパルティで穏やかに暮らし、講演やサットサングを通してスワミのメッセージを広めていました。2024年4月1日（月）に体調不良を訴えた教授は、プラシャーンティグラムのシュリ・サティヤ・サイ高度専門病院に入院し、4月3日の朝10時10分、穏やかに息を引き取られました。

教授のユーモア、愛される人柄、感動的な信愛は、彼と交流があったすべての帰依者の心の中で生き続けることでしょう。私たちがスワミの御講話に耳を傾ける時、教授の声はスワミの声と共に響き続けるでしょう。このような素晴らしい帰依者によって私たちを啓発してくださるスワミの御足に深い感謝を捧げます。アニル・クマール教授の逝去は、彼を知る機会に恵まれた全ての人々の心の中に喪失感を残しました。彼の温かさ、謙虚さ、そしてバガヴァン・シュリ・サティヤ・サイ・ババへの揺るぎない信仰は、あらゆる立場の人々に愛されていました。

私たちはアニル・クマール教授のご家族に深い哀悼の意を表し、この困難な時期にバガヴァン・シュリ・サティヤ・サイババ様が彼らに力と慰めを与えてくださるよう祈ります。

Heartfelt Tribute to Prof K Anil Kumar

Dear Devotee... Blessed Translator... Inspiring Orator... Beloved Teacher

It is with profound sadness that we share the news of passing of Prof. AnilKumar Kamaraju, translator of Swami's discourses for over two decades, whoserved Bhagawan Baba as the State President of the Sri Sathya Sai SevaOrganisations, Andhra Pradesh, the Principal of the Brindavan Campus,lecturer at the Prasanthi Nilayam Campus, and an orator par excellence whoendeared thousands to Bhagawan through his energetic and zealous lectures.

An academician by profession who was deeply interested in spirituality wasdrawn to Bhagawan in the year 1970 when he was serving as a lecturer at theAndhra Christian College. Moved by Bhagawan's message of universal love andservice, he joined the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation, Andhra Pradesh,where eventually Bhagawan blessed him to serve as the State President. Inthe early 1990s, he joined the Brindavan Campus to take charge as the
Principal, and later he moved to the Prasanthi Nilayam campus. Prof. AnilKumar played a pivotal role in shaping the lives of students through hisexemplary teaching and mentoring. His commitment to academic excellence andspiritual values left an indelible mark on the institution and itscommunity.

Around the 1990s, he regularly started translating Bhagawan's discourses, ablessed role he played till the very end of the Divine Advent. A prolificspeaker, he was called to address a gathering in Bhagawan’s presence for the first time in 1978 at the Poorna Chandra Auditorium. Thereafter, he was also blessed by Swami personally, to take His message to every corner of the
globe. In his own words, Prof. Anil Kumar travelled and spoke extensively about Swami with missionary zeal. He even prayed to Swami once, “Don't bless me with liberation Swami, let me be born again and again and spread Your glory in every life.” Such was his dedication and devotion. Prof. Anil Kumar has also been an author of innumerable books where he has not only shared his experiences but has also delved deep into the pristine message of Bhagawan.

Prof. Anil Kumar, who crossed 80 last year, had been living peacefully in Puttaparthi spreading Swami's message through his talks and Satsangs till the very end. He was admitted to the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences, Prasanthigram on Monday (April 01) after he complained of feeling unwell. This morning, April 03, he breathed his last peacefully.

His humour, his endearing personality and inspiring devotion will live on in the hearts of every devotee he has interacted with. His voice will continue to ring along with Swami’s as we listen to the Divine Discourses. We place our profound gratitude at Swami's feet for inspiring us with such a yeomen devotee of His. Prof. K Anil Kumar's passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His warmth, humility, and unwavering faith in Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba endeared him to people from all walks of life.

We extend our deepest condolences to Prof. Anil Kumar's family and pray that Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba grants them strength and solace during this difficult time.
